ADP NAMED TO “TRAINING TOP 125” FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR
ADP Recognized for Excellence in Employer-sponsored Workforce Training and Development Moving Up Significantly to Rank 12th on List
ROSELAND, N.J. (February 17, 2009) – Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP ®), a leading provider of business outsourcing solutions, announced today that Training magazine ranked ADP as 12th on its prestigious “Training Top 125” for 2009. The Training Top 125 is an annual ranking that honors organizations offering outstanding employer-sponsored workforce training and development. This is the second consecutive year that ADP was named to the Training Top 125, moving up significantly from last year’s ranking at 20th.
This ranking reflects ADP’s strong training and development programs. These innovative programs include a comprehensive learning solution aimed at fostering a world class service culture and a road map for new sales hires which outlines a sales representative’s development from day one through the first two years in the role.
“ADP actively encourages ongoing associate training and development,” said Benito Cachinero, Corporate Vice President of Human Resources, ADP. “This ranking underscores our commitment to providing associates with the best possible training that enriches their careers and helps ensure our clients receive the best possible service.”
For the eighth year in a row, an outside research and statistical data company, under the guidance of Training magazine, developed the Top 125 list by scoring companies based on quantitative and qualitative data supplied by applicants, including best training practices, evaluation methods, and outstanding training initiatives. Training’s editors subjectively reviewed each application. Under the guidance of Training magazine, the Training Top 125 is developed using a number of key elements and benchmarking statistics including total training budget, corporate universities, number of training hours per employee, turnover/retention, internal best practices, leadership development, new training initiatives, program goals, evaluation and measurement.
