Montgomery County Adds Ceridian Self-Service To Payroll and HR Services

The $1.31MM contract extends Pennsylvania County’s use of Ceridian payroll and HR services four more years, adds customer hosted self-service solution.

Minneapolis (August 27, 2008) – Ceridian Corporation, a leading provider of HR outsourcing solutions, today announced the four year extension of Montgomery County’s use of Ceridian’s payroll and related HR services. The Pennsylvania County has been a Ceridian customer since 2001. Under terms of the contract, 3,650 County employees will now have access to Ceridian’s HR/Payroll services, Ceridian tax filing services, Ceridian time & attendance, COBRA administration services, and benefits self-service

“One of our biggest reasons to continue working with Ceridian is because of the savings we will realize by continuing to make these services available to our employees,” said Diane Morgan, Montgomery County Controller. As part of the RFP process Montgomery County identified several benefits they will realize from continued use of Ceridian’s solutions, including:

* Direct deposit of payroll checks and related conversions of paper to automated digital solutions.
* Paper and energy reductions from automated payroll, tax and related HR services (will help the County continue to go green).
* The benefits self-service solution will automate and streamline workflow and approval processes.
* Employees will have access to their benefits from any Internet location.

“We are proud to offer our employees online access to pay stubs, health insurance, vacation and sick leave, and all the rest of their benefits information,” commented Ms. Morgan. “Using Ceridian’s self-service employees can easily view their benefits from home or any other Internet location, where they may be more comfortable managing their benefits.”
