ST. PAUL, Minn. (January 13, 2009) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq:LWSN) today announced that independent industry analyst firm IDC positioned Lawson as a “leader” in integrated talent management in its December 2008 report, “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Integrated Talent Management 2008 Vendor Analysis,1” by Lisa Rowan.

The IDC Marketscape report evaluated 17 talent management system vendors across 33 criteria, encompassing the vendors’ talent management strategy and capabilities. Lawson received high scores for its talent management functionality, integration, portfolio benefits, delivery model, flexibility and product roadmap.
