Ceridian Named 2007 ‘Outstanding Employer’ By Minnesota Work-Life Champions Partnership
Ceridian honored for championing healthy work-life balance
MINNEAPOLIS (January 27, 2007) – Ceridian Corporation announced today that it has been named a 2007 “Outstanding Employer” by the Minnesota Work-Life Champions Partnership, a group of local chambers of commerce, business and professional associations, foundations, and non-profit work-life advocacy organizations committed to making Minnesota’s employers the strongest in the nation.
Ceridian received the award at yesterday’s 2007 Minnesota Work-Life Champions(TM) Awards ceremony, a state-wide awards program spotlighting the efforts of Minnesota businesses to implement programs and practices that create flexible and supportive workplaces.
Ceridian was one of 22 Minnesota employers that were recognized with Minnesota Work-Life Champions Awards, with one in each of the five size categories designated as the Outstanding Employer for 2007. Ceridian was named Outstanding Employer in the very large company category, including organizations with more than 3000 employees.
The 2007 Minnesota Work-Life Champion Awards were sponsored by The Minnesota Work-Life Champions Partnership. The awards program, initiated by a grant from The McKnight Foundation, was managed by the Center for Ethical Business Cultures with assistance from WFC Resources, a nationally recognized publisher and consultant on work-life practices. The judging panel for the 2007 awards was comprised of delegates from Minnesota businesses of varying sizes and industries.
