Ceridian’s 22nd Annual Customer Conference Features Human Resource Training, Customer Advisory Boards
Multiple human resource management, payroll, benefits, tax filing and compliance update training opportunities highlight the four day conference; Ceridian will also host three customer advisory boards
Minneapolis (July 16, 2009) – Ceridian Corporation, a leading provider of managed human resource, employee benefits administration, tax filing and payroll outsourcing solutions, will be hosting INSIGHTS 2009, the company’s 22nd annual customer conference in Denver, Colorado from July 19-23. Nearly 100 training sessions will enable attendees to learn more about everything from payroll, compensation and tax solutions to proposed compliance and legislative updates to some of the new features and functionalities of Ceridian’s numerous human resource (HR) management solutions. Attendees can earn valuable accreditation hours toward industry certifications. Ceridian will also be hosting three customer advisory boards (CABs) to be convened during the four day conference.
Ceridian’s CABs have been established across all parts of Ceridian’s business. The CABs are comprised of Ceridian customers and are designed to provide the company with invaluable feedback on all aspects of Ceridian services and support. During the conference three CABs will be convening, comprised of customers from Ceridian’s HRO, benefits and payroll businesses. Ceridian looks forward to the customer input arising out of these informative CAB meetings.
As part of the overall educational opportunities, INSIGHTS participants can also earn up to 20.5 continuing education credits toward recertification for the American Payroll Association’s Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC). Participants can also earn up to 19.5 recertification credit hours towards Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
Ceridian will also offer an opportunity for all attendees to earn a professional diploma from Ceridian University. Ceridian University is a comprehensive program that provides Ceridian product training in a variety of formats including Web-based, distance learning, self-study and classroom training. At INSIGHTS 2009 attendees can earn a diploma by attending eight sessions in any of the seven specialty tracks.
In the areas of HR administration, payroll, benefits management, tax filing and related considerations 2009 has already been a dramatic year. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act changed the way employers manage COBRA benefits and taxes, to name only two of the changes employers had to implement as part of the massive stimulus bill. INSIGHTS 2009 will address these changes and others likely to affect healthcare and related employer concerns throughout the rest of the year.
